What is the Carnival of Care?

The carnival of care is an extraordinary day and one of its kind in Michigan. It is a day to honor and celebrate those who have survived catastrophic injury and disability. We include and recognize family and caregivers, who have supported these remarkable people. This is their day too!

There are clowns, games, tons of free prizes, balloon artists, face painters, music, support services, food, and much more.

This event is for the disabled community, their families, and caregivers. We want to give them a day to forget about the appointments and therapies and to just have FUN all while learning about the different opportunities our community has to offer them. The Vendor booths will have different games and prizes for everyone who visits their booth! Don’t miss this fun, FREE event!

In addition, providers of care and supporters are invited to join in on the fun by sponsoring and having a carnival booth for great networking. In past years, there have been more than 1000 people attending and over 65 vendors participating in one day, and it grows each year. Proceeds from this event will go to The D-MAN Foundation to support the continuation and growth of the carnival for years to come.

Sidenote: Unfortunately popcorn machines are not allowed this year.

WHEN and WHERE will the Carnival be held?

2016 Carnival of Care will be held at the Sterling Inn on Sunday April 3, 2016

34911 Van Dyke Ave, Sterling Heights, MI 48312

The event will be from 10am-3pm

Vendors are able to come to the Venue the day of the event as early as 7am to begin setting up their booths. All booths must be set-up by 9:00am.

WHO should be a sponsor?

Healthcare providers that serve the TBI population, Financial Management Services, Businesses that want to become part of this network, non-profit groups and organizations, case management firms and case managers, businesses dedicated to giving back to our community, physicians and other medical specialists, etc.

Networking Event

At 9am on the day of the carnival, all sponsors and vendors are invited to participate in a fun-filled networking event. Bring LOTS of business cards as we will be working hard to help facilitate some solid and long lasting relationships between the incredible businesses that support this day. Fun and prizes await the vendors that play with us!

Participation Opportunities

There are various ways to participate in the Carnival of Care. You can be an Event Sponsor, Vendor and/or Host. We welcome contributions online for those who wish to see this event continue. What is the Steering Committee?

The Steering Committee is a team dedicated to promoting and fundraising for the Carnival of Care. You are asked to promote deep within your network to help bring in your clients and new ones to come and celebrate with us. You may additionally be asked to assist with planning and volunteer support for the event.

What do you get if you decide to be a part of the Steering Committee?

Are you ready? In order to be a part of the Steering Committee you must first be purchasing one of the top four Vendor Packages. If you join the Steering Committee, D-MAN will automatically bump your benefits up one whole sponsorship level from the one you’ve chosen. You will get the cost for the level you’ve chosen, but the benefits from the level above yours.
